My name is Kenny Green and my life in a nutshell is that I was saved and changed by Jesus in the brokenness of a jail cell 20 years ago. My life was broken, damaged, and I had no purpose or direction but JESUS changed everything. Just days later God put a calling on my life to preach and I began preaching while still incarcerated and saw an incredible move of God. Here it is 20 years later and I'm still preaching the same message that set me free and changed my life so many years ago. It was shortly later I received my Bachelors degree in Pastoral Ministry at Tennessee Temple University in downtown Chattanooga. It was there I met my gorgeous wife Kayla who is way out of my league whom I share the blessing of parenting 3 amazing children Kenton, Elijah and Jordan who are the joy of our hearts.

Through much prayer and fasting after pastoring a church for 9 years God called us to launch a brand new life giving church called City Light.  In October of 2021 we planted City Light which is a multisite church, with campuses in Chattanooga, TN (broadcast campus) and Monteagle, TN. Since our launch in 2021 City Light has grown from 130 people to nearly 600 in average attendance. There have been over 1,000 decisions made to follow Jesus and over 400 people have gone public with their faith through water baptism.
